Humble Hearts Caregivers offers non-medical in-home care services designed to assist individuals with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and meal preparation, enabling them to continue living independently in their homes.
What is the difference between personal care and companion care?
  • Personal care involves hands on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Companion care focuses on promoting independence, socialization, and light housekeeping. Such as talking with the client, accompanying them to appointments, or helping with errands.
How do I know if I need home care services for my loved one?

If your loved one is experiencing difficulty with daily tasks, recovering from an illness or surgery, has a chronic condition, or just needs extra companionship and support Home care is a great solution to get the care they need within the comfort of their home.

What qualifications do your caregivers have?

As a licensed Home Care Agency in Florida, Humble Hearts Caregivers adheres to the requirements mandated by the Florida Department of Health. Caregivers are trained in house, are licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs). Our caregivers are thoroughly vetted drug tested, receive a level two background check, CPR / BLS ( Basic Life Support) certified, as well as  Insured and bonded.

How do I know which type of care is right for me or my loved one?

We offer an in home evaluation for all patients at no cost ! This will determine the level of care needed and followed up with a personalized plan of care created by our Registered nurse.  

Do you provide care for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia?

Yes, we provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments. Our caregivers are trained to handle memory-related challenges to ensure safety.

How are the caregivers matched with clients?

Caregivers are matched based on the client’s level of care, personality, and preferences. We further use the information received to match you or your loved one with the ideal caregiver.

How much do home care services cost?

Costs vary depending on the patients level of care. Please do not hesitate to schedule a in home consultation free of cost, by contacting us at agencymanager@hhcgs.com.

Will my insurance or Medicare cover the cost of home care?

We are a private pay home care agency, however, Medicare Part C or some long-term care insurance, may cover home care services . Claims must be filed by the patient or their family.

Can I hire a caregiver for just a few hours a day?
Yes, we require a minimum of 4 Hours. However we offer concierge service for those looking for 1-3 hours of service.
Is home care available 24/7?

Yes, a live in caregiver can be provided or individual shifts for caregivers are arranged, to ensure that the client is supported at all times.

What happens if the caregiver is unavailable due to illness or vacation?

If a caregiver is unable to work, the agency will arrange for another trained caregiver to ensure continuity of care. Here at Humble Hearts Caregivers we pride ourselves for neverhaving a No – Show.

How do I monitor the quality of care my loved one is receiving?

Our hands on approach to home care allows us to maintain regular communication with clients and their families to ensure satisfaction.  

Do you offer respite care for family caregivers?

Yes, we do, this allows family members who are caregivers to take a break while ensuring their loved one continues to receive quality care.

How do I get started with home care services?

The process starts with an in-home assessment where we will evaluate the client’s needs, create a care plan, and discuss pricing and scheduling.
